CALC communicates wih member Councils via the Clerk unless there is a formal arrangement in place whereby a Councillor, usually the Chairman, is authorised by the Council to contact the CALC office, in matters such as Clerk's employment.

We advise outside bodies and individuals on general matters pertaining to first tier activities.
