The Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) is the recognised bespoke qualification for Clerks to Parish and Town Councils, and is one of the tests for Quality Parish Status. |
It is a portfolio based qualification. CALC has achieved a high proportion of passes at distinction level amongst Clerks following our tried and tested route via our Foundation Course of 4 modules followed by CiLCA surgeries. The latter offer round-table support in the preparation of the evidence based portfolio and an opportunity to network with other clerks preparing portfolios. |
The society of Local Council Clerks and the University of Gloucestershire also provide ciLCA courses. |
Keep an eye on nalc.gov.uk/training for more information. |
