Where you are - Home > Developing your council > Quality parish status > County Accreditation Panel

The aim of the Worcestershire County Accreditation Panel is to ensure a consistent and fair accreditation process towards the achievement of Quality Parish Status.

The Panel consists of representatives of First and Principal Tier practitioners, with an independent Chairman, all appointed by the ODPM.

It meets on an ad hoc basis, responsive to the needs of the Parish and Town Councils in Worcestershire and mindful of costs which are subsidised by CALC. The fee set by the ODPM for applicants far from cover the actual costs involved in holding meetings of the Panel and the administration.
