In addition to the excellent defra/ODPM “Guide to Becoming a Quality Council”, which has been supplied to every Parish and Town Council in Worcestershire, further detailed guidance is available to download here.

The accreditation process is evidence based. To avoid disappointment in your application, read all the guidance very carefully and get a third person to give your Council’s file of evidence a final check.

CALC provides free pre-application audit/advice visits to individual Councils, on the basis of one visit per Council and subject to external funding.
