Qualified Lengthsman Vacancy for Ripple Parish Council

Ripple Parish Council is seeking to appoint a fully qualified Lengthsman for approximately 15 hours per month. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they maintain public liability insurance with a minimum indemnity of £5,000,000 (5 Million Pounds). Payment will be by settlement of invoice together with a detailed time-sheet which must be submitted electronically to the parish clerk on a monthly basis.

CATSHILL AND NORTH MARLBROOK PARISH COUNCIL

Lengthsman

Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council is inviting tenders for the services of a lengthsman within the parish. The successful candidate will be qualified to carry out the maintenance required, having attended “12D – Installing, Maintaining and Removing Temporary Traffic Management on Rural and Urban Roads” training within the last 5 years.

The contract for services is based on 16 hours per month for one year, but may be extended, and will commence on 1st April 2019. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they maintain public liability insurance with a minimum indemnity of £5,000,000 (5 Million Pounds). The services provided will include maintenance of roadside verges, drains, vegetation clearance and may be expanded to include small scale maintenance work.

Chaddesley Corbett Parish Council has a vacancy for a Lengthsman, to start in January 2019.

The applicant should be self employed and available for approximately 6 hours per week throughout the year. Work includes digging out grips, gulleys and outfalls, siding out footways, cleaning signs, strimming, placement and moving vehicle activated sign, etc.

Each year the Council holds a series of meetings with representatives from the community to discuss its proposed budget plans and the possible impact this may have locally. Michael Hudson, Chief Financial Officer would like to invite you to the budget engagement briefing for Parish & Town Councils and Voluntary & Community Sector at County Hall, Worcester on Wednesday, 23 January 2019 at 6.00pm. We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about the Council's proposals for 2019/20 and answer the questions you may have at the meeting.
