Beoley Parish Council seeks an experienced, self-motivated individual to join us as Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.

You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the parish council, keeping up to date financial records, attending parish council meetings, as well as other ad hoc administration tasks.

The successful applicant will be required to work from home, based on 15 to 20 hours per month, and attend one scheduled Parish Council meeting per month. Attendance at other meetings may also be required. Dependent upon commencement in the role, the successful applicant may have a handover period with the current Clerk who is retiring.

It would be advantageous to have previous parish council and/ or public sector experience, but specific training will be available.

A clean driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

Remuneration will be pro-rata in accordance with the NJC pay scales, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
