Worcestershire County Association of Local Councils (CALC) is a not for profit, voluntary member-based organisation open to all parish and town councils across Worcestershire.

We pride ourselves on supporting and informing Local Councils and providing professional advice and training to Worcestershire Parish and Town councils – the first tier of local government.

CALC is a democratic body, through Members taking part in 4 local area meetings they elect from the members representatives to form the CALC Executive Board. 

The 4 area meetings are:

Bromsgrove and Redditch
Malvern Hills
Wychavon (including Worcester)
Wyre Forest

The area meetings take place quarterly with an annual meeting in June/July where the meeting elect a chairman and two additional representatives to the Executive Committee.

In addition to these representatives the Executive Committee is made up of representatives from Councils with an electorate of over 4,000.

The Executive Committee meets In January, April, July and September. 

The AGM of the Association normally takes place in November where important issues are discussed, and the fees are set for the coming year.
