Lengthsman Vacancy – Bushley Parish Council
Bushley Parish Council is looking for a Lengthsman who is hardworking and community minded. The candidate will need to be self employed and have their own Contractor Public Liability Insurance.
You will need the following:
- Your own transport, tools and equipment
- Be able to carry out Risk Assessments
- Complete monthly Time sheets where work will cover but is not limited to:
- Clearing Verge grips to remove water from Highways
- Keeping Signs clean and clear of vegetation
- Controlling the VAS Equipment
- Ensure footpaths are kept clear and accessible
- Ensure drain covers are left clear
The Lengthsman will be required to hold the approved LANTRA training qualification.
Contract will be for 8 hours per month. Hourly rate to be negotiated at interview.
